Space for more?

Gorilla Sprint has nothing to do with King Kong or saving wildlife! One of the great places to position yourself at for watching the Tour de France is at a bunch sprint point. The teams have worked hard to protect the energy of their sprinter. They place their sprinter in the best position to get the sprint points at the inflatable sprint arches or sometimes also the finishing line.

This could have been called Manx Man rather than Gorillas Sprint as it captures the battle between two riders. Mark Cavendish (left) and Andre Greipel (a.k.a. the Geurilla) in the maillot vert or green jersey which the person with the most sprint points wears) are heading for the final and finish line sprint. Stage 16 on Bastille day 2015.

Oil painting 80 x 60 x 1.5 cm. Gorilla Sprint’s painting continues on the canvas wrapped round the shallow stretchers.
Framed 83 x 63 x  2 cm. Professionally hand-made white-limed wood case frame. Ready to hang.
