I am an artist. I enjoy spending my time exploring and being creative to make noise for your walls. So I use a number of third party applications and service providers to help me run the logistics and marketing side of the business.

What data I collect

Website

Information is passed to Google about the type of device you use to view my website, where you are located, which pages you visited and any actions you take. This enables me to understand what may be most popular with my customers and visitors. I keep that information for 18 months. Also see Cookies.

If you purchase prints directly from me:-

My shopping cart app provider ECWID is PCI DSS certified and uses Amazon Host Servers (see more at the bottom of this page). They will receive the information you provide – email,telephone numbers, name and address to enable them to informPaypal who will take payment from you, and me so I can complete the delivery.

If you purchase prints or paintings directly from me:-

All payments are processed by PayPal who will retain your information as you agree with them as either a visitor or through your personal or business account.

I will retain a copy of the PayPal invoice with your name, address, email and telephone number on it in my iCloud account for six years to enable me to provide information to the HMRC (taxman) as required.

I may use Royal Mail, ParcelForce or other delivery service and/or  a parcel comparison site to insure the delivery, create labels and tracking documents. They will retain your name, address and contact details in accordance with their data policy for recipients to enable them to deliver the prints and paintings to you. I do not store addresses with them for future purchases.

If you purchase paintings from an online gallery:-

The gallery will provide me with your name, address and telephone number to enable me to make delivery. I do not retain the information once the 14-day cooling off period is complete without return of the item. The online gallery who have collected the data will have their own policy.

If you purchase paintings from a bricks and mortar gallery and I am not involved in delivering the work to you I will not receive any data unless you ask them to send me details or you contact me.

Your name and email will be held by Mailchimp until such time as you unsubscribe.

    All the data in my Ecwid store — products, customers, general information — is stored with Ecwid, so they totally take care of it. They regularly check Ecwid with security scanners, update the software and create backups of my store. They keep the data on a secure hosting server — Amazon Web Services, a reliable and secure solution.
