The Bulk Head
£490.00
The Bulk Head is an unusual portrait of Felipe Massa in his Ferrari F1 days! Recognisable by his distinctive Brazilian flag coloured helmet sitting low in the car. 2008 so a fairly clear view of the drive with no halo present.

First Corner Ferrari
Cars, MotorsportAn impressionist picture capturing the colour and speed of an F1 Ferrari in qualifying as it takes the first corner at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia. Acrylics on 35.5 x 28 cm deep canvas. SOLD ready to hang£190.00
The Bulk Head is an unusual portrait of Felipe Massa in Jerez at testing in his Ferrari days (2008). In the days when drivers were more visible! No head restraint here.
Massa, nicknamed “The Bulk” was on his way in from testing laps, and focussed on where he was going. Fortunately, I remembered to lean back so did not get my lens bashed.
Who’d have thought that only 8 years later this looks like Vintage F1 with all the changes that they’ve made.
The work is professionally framed in a black stained wood frame with a silver coloured edge. The frame is not glazed to allow light to hit the paint directly showing the layers and the painting marks.
