Space for more?

Sky Fall is not about the negatives that the press raked over for this team. It’s about the positives of team work.  This shows the team working together (almost!), in unison, slipstreaming. Heads down as they balance on the bikes top tube – apart from one!

We all love a maverick and that head just pops up. I’m also fascinated by the moving shadows as the bikes speed along. Sky Fall is inspired by a moment from the Tour de France 2015 Stage 11. Tasmanian Richie Porte  and Welshman Geraint Thomas clearly recognisable in the group.

Oil painting 50 x100 x 1.5 cm. This painting continues on the canvas wrapped round the shallow stretchers.  Framed 53 x 103 x  2 cm. Professionally hand-made white-limed wood case frame. SOLD 2023

This original one-off painting was sold by Greenstage Gallery. Other cycling paintings available from  Will and his team who will be pleased to help you with a viewing. Buy online by clicking the link on the painting you like .
